Jin Jun Mei means "Beautiful Golden Eyebrow." This fully oxidized black tea gets this name from the picking standard in which only the buds are used for this tea and some buds will have a golden color to it. Since only the young buds of the tea leaves are used, you will see that these tea leaves are noticeably smaller than other teas. Huang Gang Mountain - Tong Mu Village area which is part of Wuyishan is where our GOLDEN EYE - Jin Jun Mei comes from. An exceptional premium black tea!

Origin: Huang Gang Mt, Tong Mu, Wuyishan, Fujian, China

Tasting notes: Rose, Velvelty, Malty

Gong Fu Brew: First infusion: 4 grams / 100 mL / 90° C / 10 secs

Second infusion: 90° C / 15 secs

Then add 5 seconds for each subsequent infusion.

Western Brew: 3 grams / 300 mL / 90° C / 2 min

Add 45 seconds for each subsequent.
