Rou Gui Cliff Oolong
Spring 2019 Harvest
Zheng Yan Garden - Shui Lian Dong Area - Wuyishan National Nature Reserve
Rou Gui in Chinese means "cinnamon." The aroma from the brewed tea has a sweet and yet spicy feature to it which likens to cinnamon. The tea garden is located in the Zheng Yan (Wuyishan National Nature Reserve) which is where the most prized Wuyi Cliff Oolongs come from. CINN CITY's most distinguishing feature is the alluring aromatics. The aroma always reminds of me of walking the streets of Wuyishan, where Rou Gui and Shui Xian are the teas of choice for the locals.
This batch was harvested in May 2021 and has undergone roasting 4 times with traditional longan wood charcoal to provide a medium roast.
CINN CITY has been roasted and rested, it's ready to drink now or can age longer to mellow out.
